From vision to execution: RSR-ESR takes a major step with Predict Marine and the go-live of PMS

Rotterdam Ship Repair | Eerland Ship Repair (RSR-ESR) and Predict Marine are proud to jointly announce the successful go-live of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS). This system will be used for the yard’s work vessels and equipment and marks an important step towards a future-proof maintenance strategy for the entire organization.

During the preparations, our teams worked closely together on a maintenance strategy focused on efficiently managing equipment and minimizing downtime. At the core of this are structured preventive maintenance and timely alerts for inspections and certifications – both essential for optimal availability and reliability.

From strategy to system

Predict Marine applied its expertise in defining and implementing maintenance strategies in the maritime sector to help RSR-ESR realize an effective maintenance management system. With the implementation of Ultimo IFS, RSR-ESR now has a system that enables them to:

• Centrally manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities

• Systematically plan inspections and certifications

• Maintain oversight of the condition of systems and assets

• Increase the reliability and availability of work vessels and yard equipment

The implementation was based on a phased approach. Together, we mapped all relevant systems and maintenance activities, after which the PMS was fully tailored to the processes and needs of RSR-ESR.
